We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Data is sent only to the LangUp backend at https://langup.piatek-magazyn.com, which stores your account and vocabulary. Google is used solely to verify your identity when you choose Google sign-in.
Your account and saved words are stored on the LangUp backend for as long as your account exists. Login tokens live only in your browser and are removed when you sign out.
The extension requests only the permissions it needs (storage, identity for Google sign-in, context menu, and access to the LangUp API host). The content script runs on all sites so it can offer the “save word” button wherever you read, but it acts only on the text you select and only sends data when you click save.
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
